The Department of Education and Early Development is recruiting for an Administrative Services Division Director
This position will work in Juneau or Anchorage
What you will be doing:
Direct and supervise the work related to department-wide administrative services functions and the information services component of the Department of Education & Early Development. This position is responsible for the operation of the Administrative Services Division and the development and execution of the annual operating and capital budgets as well as the implementation of state-wide and department policies and procedures. This position directly oversees our Data Processing Manager, Division of Operations Manager, and Human Resource Business Partner.

This leadership position is part of a small, high-functioning team. We have office locations in both Juneau and Anchorage. Each location has plentiful parking, is on the bus line, and within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shopping. Our Juneau offices are conveniently located on the 9th floor of the State Office Building in downtown. Our Anchorage offices are located on the 8th floor of the Atwood building in the heart of downtown.
