Employment Services Technician 1 located in Anchorage!

What You Will Be Doing:
The Employment Services Technician 1 provides core and intensive services to a diverse customer base of job seekers and employers. The position requires critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills, presentation and public speaking skills, and independent work strategies while utilizing a variety of computer databases and software.
The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting customers with online applications and employment-related internet searches,
- Providing mentoring and coaching to customers on job-readiness skills,
- Conducting reemployment services assessments,
- Providing job search assistance, and assisting customers with matching their skills to jobs in the current labor market,
- Promote the hiring of individuals from target groups of job seekers.
