The Department of Administration, Division of Finance is recruiting for a Human Resource Technician 1 in
Juneau!


What You Will Be Doing:

This position provides technical support to the Statewide Payroll Services section for the Division of Finance. The main duties include processing routine personnel and payroll documents requiring interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements, statutes, and personnel rules. Lead level authority is assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or the equivalent and six months of advanced clerical experience.


Substitution:

Six months of postsecondary education (16 semester hours or 24 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals six months) in any field may substitute for the specific experience.


Special Note:

High school graduation "equivalent" means one of the following: 1) a G.E.D (i.e. passing the General Educational Development test).; 2) completion of any basic adult education course of 480 class hours (16 weeks at 30 hours per week); 3) six months of work experience performing duties related to office or clerical support; 4) twelve months of work experience involving some routine tasks related to office or clerical support; 5) highest grade of school completed plus any kind of work experience that totals 12 years or more; or 6) acceptance for admission in full standing by an accredited college or university.

It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
