What You Will Be Doing:
This position plays an integral part in keeping vulnerable adult Alaskans safe. In this position, you will receive and investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. You will determine an adult’s decision-making abilities and provide voluntary supportive services or involuntary protective services based on needs through advance-level casework, service plan development, preparing legal forms, attending court hearings or mediation, and providing testimony as necessary. This position serves a vast range of individuals who may be experiencing significant behavioral, medical, mental health and socioeconomic needs that occur throughout an adult’s life span.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
This position is in East Anchorage, next to East High School. Work hours can be flexible within the general state hours of operation. Teleworking is an option after an initial training period.
