The Working Environment You Can Expect :
While the Office of Information Technology (OIT) SSO offices are primarily located in downtown Juneau, 5th Floor State Office Building and in Anchorage, the Bayview Building on Ship Creek Avenue, this position is suitable for up to 100% (in-state) telework if all job duties and expectations are able to be met.
The working social environment will center around telework. Regular attendance at daily / weekly meetings will be essential to stay abreast of ongoing activities and projects.

Due to the nature of the work of the Office of Information Technology and access to Alaska Public Safety Information Network (APSIN) at the workplace, the individual who is selected for this position will be required to pass a background investigation and may be re-fingerprinted. Full disclosure of ALL past criminal convictions (both misdemeanor and felony including suspended impositions of sentence) at the time of application is required. Convictions may lead to disqualification due to the requirements necessary to access these systems.
Employment with the Office of Information Technology is contingent upon successfully completing and maintaining an APSIN background check and security clearance conducted by the Department of Public Safety. Fingerprinting is required.
