Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Management, Marketing, Public Administration, or closely related field.
OR:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college in Accounting, Banking, Business, Business Administration, Business Law, Business Management, Finance, International Business Management, Leadership & Management, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Management, Project Management, or similar field.
AND
Two years of paraprofessional or professional experience that included examining or completing accounting or financial documents. This experience includes work involving such functional areas as accounting and finance, budget development, fiscal tracking and control, tax compliance and reporting, grant compliance and reporting, and similar activities.
Substitution:
Two years of experience supervising employees in a unit or section with responsibility for orchestrating the effective and efficient accomplishment of the unit’s activities and some authority in developing the unit’s short- and long-term goals and controlling resources will substitute for the associate’s degree.
