WHAT DOES AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II DO?
A DCS Administrative Assistant II Provides a Variety Of Support Services To Management In An Assigned Field Office. A Day In The Life Of An Administrative Assistant II Can Look Like
Knowledge of
Computers and software (Microsoft Office Suite); mobile devices; digital calendars (Outlook) & video conferencing (Microsoft Teams); styles and formats of complex reports and composing general correspondence.
Skill in
Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; general clerical functions such as, data entry and filling; verbal and written communication; time management and multi-tasking; detailed work with accuracy; professionalism with the public and gathering and summarizing data.
Ability to
Adapt to changing priorities; troubleshoot; take initiative and collaborate and coordinate the completion of assignments with other staff and agencies.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 2?

A DCS Administrative Assistant II Provides a Variety Of Support Services To Management In An Assigned Field Office. A Day In The Life Of An Administrative Assistant II Can Look Like
- Scheduling interviews with job candidates and submitting new hire paperwork to Human Resources
- Acting as Fleet Liaison for the office's assigned vehicles
- Acting as the Building Liaison, submitting work orders for repairs and notifying building occupants of facilities issues
- Preparing meeting agenda's and materials
- Compiling and computing monthly statistical reports
- Maintaining confidential files.
Knowledge of

- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona issued driver's license.
- Level one Fingerprint Clearance card - Arizona.
