WHAT DOES A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 1 DO?
A DCS Customer Service Representative I Provide Customer Service To The Public And Entry-level Support Services To Staff At An Assigned Field Office. A Day In The Life Of a Customer Service Representative I Can Look Like
Knowledge of
Computers and software (Microsoft Office Suite); mobile devices; digital calendars (Outlook) & video conferencing (Microsoft Teams); office procedures and terminology and managing files and records.
Skill in
Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; general clerical functions such as, data entry and filing; verbal and written communication; time management and multi-tasking; reading comprehension; composing correspondence and professionalism with the public.
Ability to
Adapt to changing priorities; troubleshoot; take initiative and clearly communicate to diverse audiences.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 1?
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver's License Requirements.

- Answering incoming phone calls
- Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Composing general correspondence.
Knowledge of

Skill in

- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
