Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Any combination that meets the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA); typical ways KSAs are obtained may include but are not limited to: a relevant degree from an accredited college or university such as Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., B.A.), training, coursework, and work experience relevant to the assignment.
- Minimum of eight years programming experience, at least three of which in development
- Previous experience designing and developing client/server solutions
- None
- Knowledge of applicable programming languages and development platforms
- Knowledge of current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to application support, development, and modernization
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life-Cycle
- Windows Communication Foundation
- Complex XML Schema Definitions
- Unit Testing
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Strong proficiency developing and writing technical documentation
- Strong mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
- Proficient in the use of a PC in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel, PowerPoint; and in the use of Google Suite applications such as Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive
- Strong proficiency in the use of MS Visual Studio, .NET Core, .NET Framework, C Sharp (C#), Entity Framework, T-SQL Programing, Java Script, Windows Communication Foundation, ASP.NET, MVC Pattern, REST principles, Dependency Injection, ADO.NET, Unit Testing, Complex XML Schema Definitions, AzureDevOps and/or TFS
- Ability to clear a comprehensive background and clearance process that includes an Arizona tax compliance verification, and a criminal background check through the FBI via level one fingerprint clearance through the Arizona Department of Public Safety
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and also participate collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to support .Net application modernization solutions and strategies
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Ability to present to teams and interact comfortably with individuals at all levels
- Ability to think creatively, critically, and strategically when analyzing and proposing application modernization solutions
- Ability to develop and write technical documentation
- Ability to understand and solve problems by applying intermediate analytical skills to include collecting all the relevant information and data needed to address the problem; organizing, classifying and synthesizing the data into fundamental issues; from the information, identifying the most probable causes of the problem; reducing the information down into manageable components; identifying the logical outcomes from the analyses of the data collected; and, identifying the options and solutions for addressing the problems analyzed
- Ability to learn and apply LEAN concepts, principles, and tools

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Extensive experience in .NET Technologies
