Director of Multiplatform Media
Arkansas PBS is looking for a strategic and accomplished Director of Multiplatform Media to lead our team in enhancing the success of our linear and digital programming and promotional initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Own scheduling, communication, and dissemination workflows required to produce, socialize, and maintain broadcast schedules and on-demand content
- Manage program databases to ensure accurate titles, thumbnails, descriptions, metadata, trademarks and rights usage, and FCC compliance
- Direct creative efforts for the development and delivery of promotional assets, including local program promo production, national program promo editing, monthly station promos, and paid digital advertising
- Run monthly meetings to inform all staff members of upcoming programming initiatives, navigating questions and negotiating roadblocks as they arise
- Oversee budgets and contracting for TV programming and digital advertising
- Manage four direct reports who have responsibilities that support linear and non-linear programming and content

Summary
The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) Programming Division Director is responsible for directing the operation of the programming division and acquiring and scheduling programs for broadcast. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in radio and television, journalism, or a related field; plus five years of progressively more responsible experience in television production activities, including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Licenses
Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
