The Electrician II is a State Civil Service position, working in conjunction with other State Civil Service Technicians, Federal Dual-Status Technicians, and full-time Air Force personnel. The position is responsible for all facets of the 163d Civil Engineer (CE) Squadron's skilled work in the assembly, installation and repair of electric lights, motors, heaters, generators, transformers, switchboards, and other electrical apparatus; troubleshooting of electrical systems; the operation of electrical power generating plants; the maintenance of electric shops; the operation of electrical equipment; advising in the selection and storage of electrical equipment; consulting with other tradespeople; making of rough sketches and estimating the cost of minor electrical installation; and the preparation of simple records and reports.

Department Information
