Under the administrative direction of the CalHHS Agency Chief Enterprise Architect, the Enterprise Architect, Information Technology Specialist III will work with a team at the Office of Technology Solutions and Integration (OTSI), that leads the investigation, analysis, conceptualization, and design planning for Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) business and data capabilities that enable interoperability and data sharing required to support the CalHHS IT and Data Strategic Plan (ITDSP), Future Data and Digital Ecosystem (FDDE). The FDDE is the foundation for an expandable target architecture necessary to deliver the goals and objectives of the ITDSP starting with the relevant MITA framework components. This position requires understanding of the enterprise architecture practices and methods used to relate an organization's business and data domains. Enterprise architecture practices and methods are critical to exercising the outputs of this position. Exercised understanding of MITA and background in data architecture is critical to successful demonstration of this position. Excellent collaboration and skills in developing productive professional relationship building is required. Professionalism and top-notch written and verbal communication skills are a requirement of this position. The ITSIII will collaborate with others within and outside of OTSI leadership and expertise in business and data architecture subject matter for the planning and design of the CalHHS target architecture. Some travel between Sacramento departments is likely.
This position may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

4. Experience successfully managing large stakeholder participation.
5. Understanding and experience working with Federal, State and / or Local health and human services organizations, as an employee, contractor, volunteer or recipient of health and wellness services
6. Data architect, coordinator, data scientist experience and understanding of common data management platforms.
7. Experience establishing data sharing pipelines, data management, and / or data governance structures.
8. Artifical Intelligence as a tool to enhance data integrity / quality.

Supplemental Questionnaire Instructions
