Under the general direction of the Office Building Manger III, the Office Building Manager II in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Franchise Tax Board serves as the Building Manager over Franchise Tax Board, and is responsible for planning and supervising the work of a medium to large staff engaged in the overall [custodial operations and / or maintenance services] for state-owned and occupied buildings and grounds of approximately 1,810,000 sq / ft i in accordance with FMD policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the customer services oversight, and for assisting in the management and administration of the operational budget.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
