Job Summary
The State of California is seeking a Staff Psychiatrist to join the Central California Women's Facility (CCWF) team. As a member of an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team, you will provide general population outpatient services to inmates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and participate in treatment planning and case reviews
- Prescribe medications and provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy
- Consult with and train clinical and custody staff on treatment approaches
Requirements:
A psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in California and board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
