Under the general direction of the Deputy Director Statewide Dental Program, California Correctional Health Care Services, the Regional Dental Director (RDD) plans, organizes, and directs the clinical operations of the dental health care delivery system, including the dental program and dental program support assessments. The RDD oversees the dental clinical services and the performance of Supervising Dentists in their region. The RDD also oversees the administrative performance associated with dental program compliance and clinical operations of the dental Health Program Manager IIIs in their region.
THIS POSITION IS NON TENURED, FULL TIME, NOT PERMANENT, FULL TIME AS STATED UNDER THE POSITION DETAILS.

Working Conditions
Located less than 30 minutes from Sacramento and Lodi, the progressive city of Elk Grove offers a great mix of newly developed housing, business projects, and recreational opportunities. You will enjoy working at our campus-style office complex with free parking, and perhaps even call Elk Grove home.
Travel is required.
The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed / required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
