Supervising Case Records Technician

Under the direct supervision of the Correctional Case Records Manager, the Supervising Case Records Technician is the working level supervisor. This position supervises Case Records Technicians and on occasion, other clerical staff. The Supervising Case Records Techncian is responsible for the daily clerical functions of the records office, attendance of subordinates, performance evaluations, and problem resolution. Plans for and implements necessary cross coverage during vacancies and absences.

Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

California State Prison-Sacramento is a high security male institution located in Folsom, CA. Employees may regularly be required to be in close vicinity of inmates and may visit various areas within the secured housing units.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing / evaluation thereafter.
