Environmental Health and Sustainability (DEHS), collects, integrates, analyzes, and disseminates non-infectious

disease and environmental data from various sources. Colorado Tracking is one of 33 funded jurisdictions within the

National Environmental Public Health Tracking Program, which is led by the Centers for Disease Control and

Prevention (CDC). Tracking empowers people to make evidence-based decisions on environmental public health

issues by making data accessible to public health workers, policymakers, healthcare providers, environmental

practitioners and community members via a web-based portal and direct partnerships. The program expands and

enhances environmental public health surveillance capacity in Colorado and builds a network for awareness and risk

communication in the state and locally. Tracking explores and develops measures of interest to Colorado and

collaborates with other CDC-funded Environmental Public Health Tracking jurisdictions and academic partners on

projects linking environmental and health outcome data.

the appropriate software (e.g., R, SAS, and ArcGIS), determining statistically valid study designs, and determining

position interprets results of these analyses and provides explanation for variances in measures used for program

or research recommendations included in reports. This position makes decisions and recommendations with only

administrative review and acts independently based on the full knowledge of the unit's activities and missions. This position provides statistical support for Tracking and other DEHS programs and staff as needed, and provides

guidance and oversight of quantitative analysis projects of other statistical analysts. This position may also consult

on study design and statistical analysis methods across DEHS environmental programs and provide analytic support

as needed. This position is responsible for the initial review of received data and communication with partner

programs and staff regarding data quality and completeness. This position performs centralized data management

for Tracking and determines best practices for storage and management of data. This position develops best
