The State of Connecticut, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Resource Assistant to work at our DEEP Headquarters within the Human Resources/Payroll Unit in Hartford, Connecticut.
Position highlights
- Filing and copying;
- Scanning forms to be uploaded to database;
- Opening, distributing and scanning mail;
- Answering phones and reception;
- Reviewing invoices;
- Organizing and maintaining records and files; and
- Performs related duties as required.
This position is up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, and lasting no longer than 6 months or a total of 1,040 hours in duration.

- If selected for interview, applicants will be contacted by the divisions hiring supervisor anticipated for Spring/Summer of 2025.
- If offered employment, new-hires must complete all new-hire paperwork prior to their first day of employment. This includes providing a copy of a state issued ID and acceptable documents as required for Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9 form).
- Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check, which includes a review of employment, criminal and motor vehicle.
