Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Seasonal Resource Assistants at the Burlington State Fish Hatchery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to fish care, propagation, and stocking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading fish onto stocking trucks
- Physically stocking fish in lakes and rivers across the state
- Transporting fish within the hatchery
- Feeding fish
- Cleaning fish rearing units
Working Conditions:
- Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with occasional weekends and holidays)
- Six-month duration, with possible extensions
- Multiple time frames available: March-August, May-October, November-April
Requirements:
- Age 18 or older
- Valid Driver's License may be required for certain positions
- Aquaculture knowledge and experience a plus
