The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking an Administrative Trainee who under the direction of an employee of a higher grade, will assist with duties of the Purchasing Services Unit including planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating, receiving some on the job training in public procurement, public solicitations, and contract management. Duties include, but are not limited to coordinating purchases, product research, problem resolution and planning processes.
Experience in purchasing, contract administration, business analysis, sales, accounting, professional writing, or customer service are preferred.
Salary Range : $66,558 - $85,778 / year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.
New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Minimum Qualifications Required : A Bachelor's or a Master's degree.
- Note : Incumbents with a Master's degree may be hired at step 2 of the pay group.
Appointment : Appointment to positions in this class shall be for a period not to exceed twenty-four months.
