Summary Statement
This hands-on technical manager will lead people, processes, and technology in a 24/7 IT environment, managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Webmaster teams. Responsibilities include supporting DSCYF IT systems such as video surveillance, access controls, HVAC systems, and more at all DSCYF facilities, including secure 24/7 facilities. Duties involve maintaining systems, ensuring security compliance, and representing IT requirements at the DTI Architecture Review Board (ARB) and IT audits. The role includes Information Security Officer duties and managing public-facing DSCYF websites. Participation in after-hours support rotation and travel to State facilities is required. A valid driver’s license is necessary. Comfort with jail-like facilities is required.

Organizes, staffs, budgets and directs a statewide strategic Management Resource Information System. � Establishes long and short-term goals in order to meet strategic objectives of an integrated statewide automated information system. � Monitors and evaluates system requirements in order to meet established goals and objectives. � Develops, plans and implements major software enhancements and applications. � Oversees the training and development of staff and agency personnel on the technical procedural use of system information. � Develops project planning policies and procedures for statewide use. � Implements special projects, responding to various requirements for information not otherwise provided by current system capabilities.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Strategic Information Systems Manager Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Three years experience in information technology project management which includes planning, scheduling, staffing, coordinating, controlling, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on status of IT projects. Three years experience�in designing, developing and maintaining information systems. Six months experience in staff supervision which includes planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others.

Salary : $70,750 - $106,126
