Summary Statement
This class is responsible for operating vehicles for the transport of physically, mentally and developmentally disabled persons and volunteer workers.
Essential Functions

- Operates vehicles providing inter-community transportation of incapacitated persons and volunteer workers.
- Ensures seating and wheelchair restraints are appropriate to the specific needs of each person.
- Performs routine maintenance to ensure safe mechanical condition and cleanliness of vehicles.
- Assists with passengers boarding and exit of vehicles and other facilities.
- May operate facility support service vehicles such as trash, laundry and food trucks.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Attendant Chauffeur
Applicants must have education, training and / or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas :
Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
Additional Posting Information
This is a Casual / Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and / or other benefits.
Conditions of Hire
