What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer Program Manager I/Bridge Inspection Engineer position at State of Delaware?
Summary Statement
This position will directly oversee the Bridge, Sign Structure, and Dam Inspection Programs. This includes managing a staff of 6-8 individuals along with overseeing and managing open-end consultant inspection contracts. Duties include performing QC of inspection reports, assist with updating inspection related manuals, assist with structure asset management activities, responding to High Priority incidents and weather events, scheduling annual bridge inspections and inspection teams, assist with QA inspection efforts, identify future budgetary needs, coordinating with local bridge owners, and assist the FHWA with the Annual NBIS Compliance Review process.
