Summary Statement

The incumbent works in the warehouse and serves the 24 / 7 resident facility under a superior. Duties include inventory control, materials handling, counting, loading and unloading, recording, tracking, delivering and distributing all supplies at established PAR levels for resident care, nursing, office and ancillary staff. The incumbent orders, direct purchases, and receives supplies from outside vendors, and delivers supplies daily. Upon receiving supplies, the incumbent inspects, sorts, stacks and completes documents, and operates various equipment such as medium size box truck, forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks to distribute supplies to various areas within facility.

• Collects, receives, marks, sorts, stacks, distributes, and inventories supplies, materials, equipment, parts, or other articles.
• Locates and selects material, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, or other articles from stockroom, warehouse, storage yard, or other related areas.
• Adjusts, repairs, assembles, or prepares products, supplies, equipment, or other items according to specifications or customer requirements.
• Operates a variety of equipment for the purpose of preparing, inspecting, weighing, evaluating, recording, marking, or transporting supplies, materials, equipment, or other articles.
• Records type, quantity, value, or location of material, supplies, equipment or other articles received, shipped, used, or issued.
• Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, instruments, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations; ensures security of inventory.

This position is a classification organized under an exclusive bargaining representative (labor organization) that has been elected by employees as their representative for collective bargaining and other applicable terms and conditions of employment, in accordance with Title 29, Chapter 59 and Title 19, Chapter 13 and 16. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement based on its individual terms.
