Summary Statement
The employee assists and / or instructs individuals in a range of therapy activities, following established procedures and under the close supervision of a technical superior. Responsibilities include guiding individuals through therapy activities such as basic living skills, sensorimotor exercises, psychosocial engagement, and preparation for therapy treatments. The employee monitors and records individual progress, ensures adequate supplies and materials are available, and maintains the cleanliness and functionality of work areas and equipment.

THERAPY ASSISTANT
- Provides support in planning, implementing and administering activities and providing instruction.
- Assists therapist in developing treatment plans and conducting evaluations.
- Confers with therapist and others to discuss and evaluate individual's information for planning, modifying or coordinating treatment.
