Position Overview and Responsibilities
The position is within the FX Program Management & Support Unit in the Office of Florida Health Care Connections (FX) in the Agency for Health Care Administration. Responsibilities include providing Power Platform support, technical support, and process improvement for projects supporting the FX Program. The candidate should be highly organized, technically skilled, have strong team building and communication abilities, and be capable of managing multiple projects.
This position is primarily responsible for:
- Assisting and providing Power Platform support to the FX Program Administration Team, and
- Developing Power Automate workflows to automate ID tracking, updates, and user notifications for SharePoint lists.
Other duties may also include:
- Special projects as assigned by the SharePoint Administrator and the Project Management Administrator over the FX Program Management & Support Unit.
- Providing business analysis to implement process improvements where needed.
- Serve as backup for ensuring SQL and Power BI (PBI) data sources are refreshing daily as expected, and addressing report anomalies.
- Assisting and providing guidance, structure, and management for the creation of reports using data visualization tools, including but not limited to SharePoint Lists, PBI, SSRS, Power Platform, Tableau, and Excel as requested.
- Ensuring FX reporting is following AHCA IT standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft’s Power Platform;
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word;
- Ability to summarize and document meeting discussions and decisions;
- Ability to document, organize and track tasks and assignments;
- Ability to analyze and produce complex data reports;
- Proficiency with creating BI reports, managing refreshes, and sharing.
- Strong writing, listening and interpersonal skills;
- Be able to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment;
- Be able to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all staff at all leadership levels;
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams in order to meet deadlines; and
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects and work assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience working with Microsoft’s Power Platform
- Two (2) years experience creating complex reports pulling from BI tools (PBI, Tableau, etc)
Preferences
- Experience with process improvement, SSRS, and SharePoint Lists is preferred.
