This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Contract Management and Monitoring. This position may require 20 – 30% of travel as needed.
Salary: $53,565.72 Annual Rate

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The working title for this position is Contract Quality Assurance Coordinator. Under general supervision, serves as a contract management and monitoring quality assurance coordinator and training consultant in the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring.
- Demonstrates competency and knowledge in software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Articulate, database applications, etc.), and applications for the development and updating of contract monitoring and contract management related trainings.
- Provides Contract Management and Monitoring related trainings on a quarterly basis, as assigned, or other related special topic training tasks.
- Researches, develops, and edits training booklets, tools, and presentations.
- Maintains and updates the Contract Management Technical Manual as it pertains to departmental procedures, legislative initiatives, Comptroller Memorandums, and best practices both internal and external to the agency.
- Communicates, coordinates, and monitors contract manager training (Florida Certified Contract Manager) pursuant to 287.057(14), F.S., on a quarterly basis. Maintains Excel spreadsheets tracking contract managers” training completion on a quarterly basis and provides the information to management.
- Uses computer skills to create, manage, analyze, and document research information. Analyzes data required for in-house agency reporting requirements for the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring.
- Reviews audit requests and inquiries from the Bureau of Internal Audit, the Office of the Auditor General, and the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability. Follows up with program areas to ensure compliance.
- Conducts administrative monitoring component of strategic statewide contracts assigned to the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring.
- Reviews a representative sample of contracts assigned to the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring to determine if services are rendered as required by the Contract; the delivery of the contracted service is effectively verified and properly monitored.
- Reviews a representative sample of a program area contract manager’s files for compliance with DC Procedure 205.013 and the Contract Management Technical Manual, for selected program areas.
- Updates and maintains the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring Annual Monitoring Plan and Schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or four (4) or more years of equivalent experience in contract management or monitoring.
