Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist in Maternal Child Health. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing evidence-based programs and services to promote healthy outcomes for mothers and children.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement Healthy Start programs and services to support at-risk families
- Provide health education and promotion to pregnant women and new mothers
- Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement strategies to reduce health disparities
- Conduct home visits and assessments to identify areas of need and develop Family Support Plans
- Document service delivery and outcomes in accordance with program requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; or three or more years of experience in public health and/or maternal child health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
