Your Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Office of Long-Term Resiliency program areas to develop and maintain the office’s CDBG-DR policy documents, manuals, and guidelines for past and future disasters.
- Assist in reviewing and modifying policies and procedures as appropriate.
- Research federal and state regulations and incorporate references.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular internal and external monitoring/audits of disaster recover programs, procedures, policies, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
- Assist in the review of contracts and sub-recipient agreement deliverables to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations to the team to determine program actions.
- Review external best practices to ensure a high level of program execution and make recommendations to management if changes are needed.
- Assist team with special projects, as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

- Experience researching multiple issues with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to write, draft, and review policy and procedure manuals.

- This is an OPS position in Tallahassee, Fl with the Department of Commerce working under the Office of Long-Term Resiliency within the Division of Community Development.
- This position serves as a policy and compliance analyst to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations for OLTR and its subrecipients. This position is expected to function independently and must have high organizational skills.
