Description: The Nurse Aide Instructor is responsible for performing all aspects of instructions for the program.
Major Duties:
- Provide instruction in the theory and practical applications of Nurse Aide.
- Engage learners in the Nurse Aide program using a variety of learning experiences and activities including lecture, lab, clinical, and simulated learning environments.
- Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
- Instructional duties include course design and development of lesson plans, instruction, assessment, and evaluation with efficient maintenance of classroom records, and instruction in the clinical setting.
- Faculty teaching in the Nurse Aide program will also be expected to attend clinical with students and develop and maintain clinical relationships.

- Knowledge of the college’s academic programs
- Skill to work cooperatively with students, faculty and staff
- Skill in the preparation and delivery of classroom content

Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in Nursing
- Georgia Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum one (1) year long term care nursing experience
- Train the Trainer Certification
