The Department of Human Resources Development - State Recruiting Office will refer all inquiries regarding this recruitment to the DOT Personnel Office.Provides land survey support for highway construction projects and highway special maintenance projects.
Serves as instrumentman on a variety of kind of surveys such as preliminary, topographic, construction or boundary surveys, using a transit, level, theodolite, and/or other survey instruments; reduces and plots field notes and performs related computations; may serve as chief-of-party on routine surveys; compiles data pertaining to surveys from maps, deeds, land titles, metes and bounds descriptions or other sources; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Basic Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a major in land surveying, geo-science, or engineering.
License: A valid license to drive in the State of Hawaii is required, at the time of appointment.
