EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position is located in the Social Services Division of the Department of Human Services. The function of the Social Services Division is to provide social services to eligible individuals and families that include child welfare services directed at protecting children who are at-risk or have been abused and neglected, and adult and community care services directed at protecting vulnerable adults.The purpose of this position is to assist the Social Services Division (SSD) Administrator in administering statewide social services programs and related supportive services in accordance with applicable legal requirements and in collaboration with other state agencies and community based organizations; directs and coordinates divisional program planning, budgeting reporting and other management functions including facilitating thw ork of the division. Serves as acting SSD Administrator in the absence of that position's incumbent; and performs other related duties as assigned.
