ITD is currently seeking a Maintenance Operations Research Analyst at our Headquarters office in Boise, Idaho. This position plays a vital role in tracking and monitoring heavy equipment, motor pool vehicles, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate data reporting. The majority of this position is spent indoors, with some outdoor work.
NOTE: This is a non-benefited temporary position and will require a driver's record review.
This position may move from temporary to a classified position on entrance probation once the employee has completed a continuous service of 1,040 hours.

Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations Data Analyst
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel – building spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and running reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Word – document creation, formatting, and editing
- Monitoring inventory levels and vehicle complement
- Tracking and monitoring all state fleet equipment.
- Coordinating vehicle disposal, service needs, and new vehicle preparation
- Transporting vehicles to and from vendors
- Handling registrations, licensing, and titling
- Assembling vehicle informational binders
- Filing, scanning, and performing general clerical duties
- Generating automated reports using tracking systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, charts, and data management)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (document formatting, templates, and reports)
- Experience with printers, scanners, and small hand tools (e.g., electric screwdrivers, crescent wrenches)
- A valid Idaho driver’s license
- Familiarity with TAMS and Geotab systems
