This position serves as the Fiber Plant Operations Supervisor responsible for the oversight and management of the State’s fiber optic infrastructure. In this role you will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining fiber optic networks ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects. In addition, you will collaborate with network engineers and customers to define project requirements and oversee the work of contractors and technicians. This supervisory position plays a crucial role in managing staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies as well as addressing any issues or problems that arise during the installation or maintenance process.
