Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Vascular Tech (Normal, IL)

Position: Immediately need an experienced Ultrasound Vascular Tech position for the 3 months of the contract.

Title: Ultrasound Vascular Tech

Location: Normal

Duration: 13 weeks (Extending)

Shift: Monday to Friday. 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. 8 hours. 40 hours a week.

Pay rate: Lucrative pay Benefits Bonus

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
• Active Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) through ARDMS.
• RDMS Abdomen (AB) or RDMS Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) through ARDMS.
• COVID Vaccinated.
• BLS / CPR Preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results and provide accurate reports.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinical environment.
• Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technologies.

Experience:

• Proficiency in radiology, telemetry, and sonography is essential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and emergency medicine is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and diagnostic evaluation processes is preferred.
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
