The Iowa Department of Revenue is seeking a temporary administrative assistant to work in the Human Resources Bureau.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, scan and upload employee personnel files into PaperVision
- Assist HR staff in miscellaneous administrative duties
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs at times
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality with regard to protected personal data, medical data, wage information, and employment history
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Administrative work experience
- 2 years of administrative assistant experience or human resources experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass FBI Fingerprinting
- Be in compliance with Iowa tax filing requirements
- Willing to participate in the E-verify process
