6th Judicial District’s Court Administration has an immediate opening for a Judicial Specialist located in Johnson County, Iowa City, Iowa.
The starting salary for new State employees is expected to be at the base of the pay range. The starting pay for this position is $18.59/hour. Adjustments may be made if the successful applicant has relevant experience.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00A – 4:30P

Minimum Qualification Requirements
successful completion of accredited post high school education in business, paralegal, computer, legal assistant or related program. Two (2) years of professional office experience in business, court or legal work or a related area with one (1) year of the experience involving customer service. At the discretion of the appointing authority additional years of experience may be substituted for the required post high school education.
Or, the successful completion of additional years of education (i.e., Bachelor’s Degree) may be substituted for years of experience on the basis that successful completion of thirty (30) semester hours or academic equivalent equals one year of experience. Education cannot be substituted for customer service experience.
