The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of Medicaid, is seeking a Medicaid Medical Director to join our team!
The Medical Director will work with both the Medicaid and Hawk-I programs. Working under the direction of the State Medicaid Administrator, the Medicaid Medical Director acts as a key leadership partner in network development, product design, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, policy development and policy review. The Medicaid Medical Director will provide leadership and consultation to State Medicaid staff and Iowa Medicaid contractors related to medical policy. The Medicaid Medical Director will serve as a consultant to other divisions within the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
Requirements of the position :
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) is required.
