Job Description

Perform and lead staff in the verification and search of all incarcerated individual personal property received in Iowa State Penitentiary Receiving & Deliveries that are to be issued to incarcerated individual in housing unit, stored in Iowa State Penitentiary Receiving & Deliveries or issued to incarcerated individual upon discharge or outgoing trip in accordance with Department of Corrections & Iowa State Penitentiary Personal Property Policy standards.

Issue disciplinary reports as needed Issue and maintain records for 15 day notices.

Discard the 15 day noticed personal property as requested by the incarcerated individual in accordance with Department of Corrections and Iowa State Penitentiary Personal Property Policy standards.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:

• Three years of full-time work experience in clerical, inventory, stores, supply, or warehousing work.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes twelve months of full-time work as a Storekeeper 2.
