The Northwest Louisiana Human Services District was formed to provide local governance and direction for behavioral health and developmental disability services for individuals residing in the nine parishes of Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster.
This position is with the NW LA Human Service District's Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic located at 1310 N Hearne Ave. Shreveport, LA 71107.
The incumbent is an integral member of the administrative services and service delivery teams, working closely with direct service provider staff, supervisors and clients as the main receptionist at a large behavioral health clinic. Provides a wide variety of clerical duties that requires independent judgment and in-depth knowledge of District and Behavioral Health policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Maintains a person-centered, recovery orientation to clients regarding their appointments, attentive to client engagement and readiness to service. Serves as backup to the scheduling specialist and Medical Records custodian as needed.

Pay Ranges -
Administrative Coordinator 1 - $10.00/hour - $18.00/hour
Administrative Coordinator 2 - $11.45/hour - $20.61/hour
Administrative Coordinator 3 - $13.11/hour - $23.59/hour
**Note regarding the pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Distinctions:

NOTE: Positions allocated at this level tend to focus on a few examples of work as listed below:
Serves as the Main Receptionist at a Large Behavioral Health clinic.
Answers multi-line telephone or switchboards, giving routine information and screening calls.
Performs responsible, initial departmental-program duties in accordance with rules, regulations, and policies. May involve communication with other departments, customers, etc.
Processes routine paperwork and/or enters data into a department log or database in the servicing of a customer.
Receives deliveries and monitors facsimile machine.
Serves as backup to the Scheduling Specialist and Medical /Records Custodian as needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.
