What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Supervisor 2 position at State of Louisiana?
This position is located in Shreveport, LA in the Caddo Parish Child Welfare department. This position supervises administrative employees within the child welfare department.
This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months.

Three years of experience or training in clerical work.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.
To supervise personnel engaged in clerical activities in support of an organizational unit or program.
Level of Work:
Supervisor.
Supervision Received:
General from higher-level administrative and/or supervisory personnel.
Supervision Exercised:
Direct supervision over 3 or more Administrative Coordinators, Administrative Assistants, or equivalent.
Location of Work:
May be used by all state agencies.

Counsels employees on work-related problems or questions.
Determines and assembles data, and composes special reports, periodic correspondence, or production reports.
Gives routine interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations.
Performs related duties as assigned.
