Wraps and sterilizes glassware and equipment, operates gas or steam autoclaves, places sterilized items in dispensing area. Cleans autoclaves, drains screens and glassware washers. Prepares media, measures, sterilizes and dispenses. Performs routine capillary and/or venipuncture. Performs routine blood pathogen screening. IN AN ANIMAL LABORATORY Feeds and waters animals. Cleans cages, runs, and stalls. Observes animals to note change in their appearance and habits; reports signs of abnormal conditions. |
