Bachelor's Degree required Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Excellent organizational and communication skills Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft products, specifically Excel Proficient in coaching fundamentals of volleyball
Plan an coordinate team practice sessions Supervise competitions Responsible for fiscal management of budget Supervise all personnel who work with volleyball including graduate assistants, student coaches, student managers and volunteers Know and follow the NCAA, SLC, NSU, and ULS rules and regulations Aid administration of summer camps Monitor academic progress of student-athletes in collaboration with Athletic Academic Service Participate in community outreach programs along with other staff and student-athletes Conduct media interviews and honor requests to appear on radio and television shows as schedule allows Oversee all aspects of finding and recruiting student-athletes who can succeed both in the classroom and Division I athletics Assist Admissions office in targeting and recruiting students that are outstanding academically and/or in extracurricular activities other than athletics Aid with all fund raising activities including Alumni function fundraisers, targeting, and cultivating potential donors for the sport, department, and University Develop positive relationships with community, faculty, staff, and students on campus
