 CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD 

This is a part-time, as needed only, position. 

This position is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR certifications.
• Must exhibit a professional and friendly manner,
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.  

• Remain alert and attentive while on duty.
• Scan the pool for distressed swimmers and respond accordingly.
• Enforce all pool rules fairly and consistently.
• Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner according to guidelines and training.
• Greet and check in students and staff.
• Remain attentive to signals made by other Lifeguards.
• Maintain pool deck and grounds.

• Vacuum the pool.
• Clean the pool tiles and/or skimmers.
• Check the pool chemistry as required by parish and state laws and adjust the chemical balance and refer problems to the Exec Director, Residential Services.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Salary : $15
