The Training and Workforce Development Manager _ New Energy Markets is located in the Technical Education Division. This is a full-time position. This position will be opened until it's filled.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree In a New Energy Markets field or 10 years of work-related experience in the field
- Certifications/Licenses Required: Industry specific certifications
- In a related field and 3-5 years of work-related experience

40% Management and Partnership Development:
- Establish partnerships with New Energy Markets companies, government agencies, and community organizations to create pipelines for internships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
- Serve as the liaison between BRCC and local/regional employers to facilitate workforce development initiatives.
- Design and coordinate New Energy Markets-related training programs, focusing on current industry trends and workforce demands.
- Collaborate with the Dean of Technical Education to develop and update curriculum aligned with industry standards and emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with New Energy Markets industry stakeholders to ensure the relevance of training programs.
- Implement and promote industry-recognized credentialing programs in areas such as commercial driving, logistics, and fleet management.
- Oversee the certification process and ensure that programs meet state and federal standards for New Energy Markets training.
- Ensure all students are prepared for industry certification exams and monitor success rates.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new technologies in the energy sector, including renewable energy, clean energy innovations, and sustainable practices.
- Analyze workforce data to assess the demand for specific skills and qualifications in new energy sectors, guiding the development of relevant training programs.
- Monitor legislative and policy changes that impact the energy industry and adjust training initiatives accordingly to stay compliant and relevant.
- Compile and present research findings to stakeholders, recommending strategies for enhancing training and workforce development.
- Advise students on career pathways in the New Energy Markets industry, including certification requirements and potential career opportunities.
- Work with faculty to develop and update instructional materials, resources, and equipment aligned with industry standards.
- Provide professional development opportunities for faculty in the New Energy Markets field.
- Develop marketing strategies to recruit students into New Energy Markets programs, including attending job fairs, hosting informational sessions, and leveraging digital marketing tools.
- Represent BRCC at New Energy Markets industry events and community forums to increase visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Work with the Dean to generate revenue and manage the budget.
- Identify and pursue grants or other funding opportunities to support New Energy Markets workforce development initiatives.
- Prepare grant proposals and manage awarded grants, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Collect and analyze data related to program enrollment, student performance, certification pass rates, and job placement.
- Provide regular reports to the Dean of Technical Education on the effectiveness of New Energy Markets programs and initiatives.
