LINE AND STAFF RELATIONSHIPS
The Workforce Coordinator (Program) reports to the Executive Director of Workforce.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The Workforce Coordinator (programs) plays a pivotal role in supporting and managing various administrative, admissions, registration, and operational aspects of the workforce development activities within the organization. This positioncoordinates the programmatic responsibilities for workforce development division such as but not limited to program: marketing, admissions, registration, records management, purchasing of supplies/equipment, managing enrollment, program analysis, credentialing, and coordinating the needs of the non-credit Instructors. This role is responsiblefornon-credit workforceprogram coordination. Provides team support forall non-credit and credit workforce development activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required or Associates Degree plus 4 yearsprofessionalworkexperienceCertifications,ExperienceandTraining
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP )or 4years’ experience as an Administrative Professional
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local workforce education policy
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinate with all internal/external personnel for non-credit classes/labs space.
- Manage the NCCER Performance Profile process for non-credit classes.
- Build courses and sections for workforce classes.
- Enroll students in workforce classes.
- Maintain the student and Instructor credentialing
- Build and Maintain Partnerships/ Relationships with Business & Industry and Individual Clients/Students.
- Coordinates the purchasing process for supplies and equipment for non-credit classes.
- Works with instructors to ensure all their supplies and equipment are ready for class.
- Support in managing student payment for non-credit courses by instructing Instructors to ensure students have paid for the class.
- First responder to the Workforce Department incoming calls & emails
- Coordinates and attend marketing efforts for non-credit programs.
- Support workforce instructors for all programs
- Anticipate and initiate opportunities for possible or upcoming classes from third-party vendors to provide information and services to our industry partners and clients.
- Maintain detailed documentation and support timely, quality follow-up for requests, needs, and expectations.
- Enter and maintain Industry Based Credentials for the workforce department.
- Assist with filing system (electronic and physical –if required) for external agencies (WIOA and others).
- Support Workforce Development Team with administrative tasks required to serve our customers.
- Responsible for excellent execution of delivering workforce solutions and customer service.
- Work in partnership with other community colleges and training providers to serve the industry with needed training programs, facilities, curriculum, equipment, and trainers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Salary : $43,428 - $51,533
