MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Four years of experience responding to and resolving help desk calls from users of computers, or operating computer equipment for the purpose of data entry, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database or other applications.
Notes:
- Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Information Technology or other related field with specific coursework in the structure and use of automated information systems for the required experience.
- Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Information Technology or other related field with specific coursework in the structure and use of automated information systems for each year up to four years of the required experience.
- Candidates may substitute graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate and two years of experience responding to and resolving help desk calls from users of computers, or operating computer equipment for the purpose of data entry, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database or other applications for the required experience.
- Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in the Cyber and Information Systems classifications or Cyber and Information specialty codes in the Information Technology field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Some experience analyzing and troubleshooting application problems and making recommendations for correction
- Experience with the MS suite of products
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel
- Some experience in creating and using test plans for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Some experience gathering the needs of the business user and working with technical programmer analysts in the design, testing and implementation of software applications to meet those needs
- Good verbal and written skills and experience communicating with technical customers (programmers, business partners and supervisors)
- Ability to work overtime when required including before and after regular business hours and some weekends, and to work the hours specified in the interview
