This position plans, administers, and advises Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center’s Individual Therapy Program. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day administration of Individual Therapy Programming including but not limited to coordinating all therapy services, monitoring and reporting on the quality of services, recommending and creating processes from referral, assignment, and discharge from the program.

Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for Social Workers.

The desired candidate should possess the following:

1. Candidates must be licensed as a Certified Social Worker-Clinical by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners prior to appointment to a position in State service. Applicants who do not have the license may also apply pending receipt of the required license. When the license is obtained, submit a copy to the Maryland Department of Health Testing Unit.

Applicants who meet the minimum (and selective) qualifications will be included in further evaluation. The evaluation may be a rating of your application based on your education, training and experience as they relate to the requirements of the position. Therefore, it is essential that you provide complete and accurate information on your application. Please report all related education, experience, dates and hours of work. Clearly indicate your college degree and major on your application, if applicable. For education obtained outside the U.S., any job offer will be contingent on the candidate providing an evaluation for equivalency by a foreign credential evaluation service prior to starting employment (and may be requested prior to interview).
