Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have acute hospital Operating Room (OR) experience and be skilled in decontamination and disinfection procedures, specialty equipment processing, and sterilization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Handle and process specialty equipment, including bariatric, cardiac, dental, ENT, endoscopy, general surgery, laparoscopic, neuro, OBGYN, ophthalmology, orthopedic, and plastic surgery instruments.
- Operate sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and washers.
- Ensure proper labeling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing, with acute hospital OR experience required.
- Certifications: CBSPD Certification or IAHCSMM/HSPA Certification.
- Skills: Proficiency in decontamination and disinfection using chemical agents, manual cleaning procedures, and sterilization equipment.
