The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
This position will perform a range of professional assignments involving research and analysis to evaluate, assess, plan, develop and implement the Eligibility’s area operations and/or services and perform various duties, both analytical and administrative, to meet the needs of for the BRM that supports DHHS Eligibility, including analyzing performance of business and administrative activities of the Bridges Resource Center (BRC) to ensure customer satisfaction and serving as a resource to provide advice to the agency BRC concerning help desk activities and reporting issues for all Eligibility applications in accordance with all policies and procedures. This position includes developing and improving existing procedures to streamline workflows and problem resolution, it will oversee the daily processes within Eligibility runs smoothly. This position will research issues and provide reports and solutions. Lead in on and offboarding resources for the Eligibility division in accordance with DTMB policies and procedures to ensure all access granted is based on requirements of the work being performed. Track purchases, time management, provide specific reports as and when requested by Division Director. Track and report equipment and software inventory to ensure all equipment is accounted for and properly secured following department processes and procedures. Support and backup Eligibility financial business analyst to track procurement and billing and working with DHHS Financial to ensure quality of service. Research issues and provide reports and solutions. Lead in on and offboarding resources for the Eligibility division in accordance with DTMB policies and procedures to ensure all access granted is based on requirements of the work being performed. Assist and work closely with BRM, Financial Analyst, and aid SAM15s and ITM14s in monitoring time tracking and reporting in Clarity and SIGMA for the Eligibility area.Position Location/Remote Office: The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.

Experience
Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification.
OR
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
OR
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
*Paraprofessional classifications are those requiring an associate's degree or two years of college.
Educational Substitution
College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
